What the Hell Is Wrong with You?

What the Hell Is Wrong with You?

By Nolan Miller and Ryne Ross

Nolan Miller and Ryne Ross are comedians and buddies who run shows together and both live in Indianapolis. They interview people about a bad "bomb" in their life. Whether it is interviewing a fellow comedian about their worst show they've ever done, or it is someone telling a story about ripping their pants at work, Nolan and Ryne are just glad the situation didn't happen to them.

Brad Rigler Bombs Once Again

Brad Rigler Bombs Once Again

Brad Rigler is a good friend of the podcast and came back once again to chat with Nolan about some serious issues. SERIOUS STUFF HERE, GUYS! Also Nolan admits what his retirement plans are going to be after comedy. Hopefully, Ryne doesn't die of COVID. It would be a pain for Nolan to have to do the work of finding a new host... too much work. Honestly, if Ryne Ross ever passed away young, Nolan would probably just quit recording podcasts. It would be too difficult on his emotional health.

Tell a friend about the podcast if you like listening. Consider giving money to the podcast either by signing up to give monthly donations, or you can give money to us directly through pay pal. Psychologyboy1160@gmail.com is the email if you want to give the guys a monetary gift, and you can also ask about being a potential guest on the podcast. Also, Nolan always loves going out to brunch, so you can also offer to go with Nolan for a good brunch date. Nolan would like that. Ryne never goes to brunch with Nolan because Ryne says, "I aint gay. I don't do brunch."

Dustin Burkert, a new up and coming comedian in the Indianapolis Comedy Scene, sits down with Nolan for a one on one chat. Emmanuel Theophilus Bombs

Emmanuel Theophilus Bombs

After a week of hiatus, Ryne solos this episode with the very funny Emmanuel Theophilus. Emmanuel is a regular at Guttys Comedy Club and travels frequently competing in the World Series of Comedy. Ryne and Emmanuel nerd out and talk comedy and old video games, but Ryne had to hold back tears all episode because of how much he missed Nolan. (Nolan is the writer of all of these descriptions of the podcast, obviously).

Thanks to Adam Riviere for hosting the podcast each and every week. Also a shout out to Erica Ann Paul for all photography and graphics. Do you want to see Ryne and Nolan do live stand up? Mariah Davidson Bombs

Mariah Davidson Bombs

Writer for Bob and Tom Mariah Davidson was on the episode this week! Nolan dug himself a hole, and no matter what he said, it made the situation worse. Mariah teaches everyone why a host shouldn't do additional jokes in between introducing other comedians, and there is some 90's nostalgia at the end of the episode. Thank you to Adam Riviere and Playground Productions Studio for hosting us each week and producing the show! A shout out to Erica Anne Paul for all the photography and graphics! Do you want to see Ryne and Nolan perform stand up comedy? Come to the Funniest Person in Indy Competition on June 6th at Helium Comedy Club- Indianapolis and support Ryne and Nolan! Ran Barnaclo Bombs

Ran Barnaclo Bombs

Adam the producer was on vacation still, so Nolan and Ryne do their best to do an at home version of the podcast. It started out as a video, but Nolan is bad with tech (main reason why Adam exists in the first place) so we just used the audio of our zoom call. Ran Barnaclo is a great guest: Dog breeds, best kind of comedy clubs, what his profession will be if he ever gets cancelled; so many topics were discussed in this episode. If you like Ran Barnaclo and want to hear his opinions on topics more often listen to him on his podcast "Rumble Lips!" He also has a podcast with David Waite called, "Riff City!" Hopefully in the future Nolan can figure out how to not screw up a video file, so you can see their pretty faces! To try to branch out and get some out of town comics you will see more content home recorded in the future!

Jeff Goltz and Tony Brondchiatus Bomb

Ryne unfortunately was sick and couldn't make it to the studio, so Nolan took the reigns and had a blast with Jeff Goltz! Jeff Goltz is a ventriloquist/comedian and has been performing since a child. Jeff is a unique ventriloquist because he also makes all of his own puppets by hand. One of Jeff's co-workers/puppets, Tony Bronchiatus was also a guest, and him and Nolan become the best of buddies by the end of this episode. Tony Bronchiatus wants all the listeners to know that he invented the idea of the podcast. Josh Williams is our guest this episode, and, boy, was it a doozy of an episode. Nolan describes Josh Williams as, "Weird...funny...but weird." And we did have a weird but funny time with him! Josh tells a harrowing tale of why mixing comedy, a party bus, and psychedelics is not a good idea. Nolan shares more about his love life while Ryne and Josh roll their eyes.

40th Episode Hang with Peter Frederick Wallace and Jake Smith

40th Episode Hang with Peter Frederick Wallace and Jake Smith

Our planned comedian had to cancel, so Peter Frederick Wallace and Jake Smith (our hot intern) decided to give us company and join Ryne and Nolan for some fun 4/20 hangs. Ryne gives the gang beers to try, Peter Frederick Wallace passionately disses beloved films, Jake Smith doesn't try at all to look good, but he still does, and it pisses Peter off. Nolan is accused of being a Bronie because of his vast knowledge of their culture (Nolan isn't a Bronie, he just wants to shove one in a locker really bad) Nolan Miller obviously wrote this bio!

Shout out to Adam for coming to our comedy mic at Helium Indianapolis this week and producing our podcast perfectly with ease week in and week out, and thanks Erica Ann Paul for all the free marketing and photography she does for the podcast.

Griffin Sciarra Bombs

Griffin Sciarra Bombs

The comedian Griffin Sciarra blesses Ryne and Nolan with his presence on the podcast this episode. Adam Riviere is the best producer in the world and gifts everyone with Reese's Eggs after Nolan and Ryne discover their shared obsession with them. After eating of the best candy in the world (Fuck you, Peter Heinz for disliking Reese's Eggs), Griffin, Nolan, and Ryne discuss some current events, Griffin discusses the pros (there is none) and the cons (there are many) of living in Muncie, Indiana. Griffin also shares why it is bad to try new material on a paid comedy show.

Thanks again to Erica Ann Paul and Adam Riviere for all the added help with the podcast each and every week. Special shout out to France for being our 12th country to jump on board the Hellion train! Peter Heinz Bombs

Peter Heinz Bombs

The comedian Peter Heinz was on the episode, and, boy, was this a fun episode. Peter makes friends at a show that leave his set early because he is bombing, Nolan and Ryne team up on Peter for not liking Reese's eggs (a justified response that Ryne and Nolan will have if anyone ever trash talks Reese's Eggs again). Nolan takes things to a dark place during Current Events.

Carrie Clouse Bombs

The comedian Carrie Clouse joins the boys for a fun episode full of whimsy and fun.
